Every wood or pellet stove or insert we sell qualifies for a tax credit under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. This tax credit covers 30% of the cost (up to $1500) for these appliances bought in 2009 or 2010. Ask at the store for more information.
You can find details on filing for this credit at the IRS website. Tax credits are different than deductions. The tax credit lowers the amount of tax you pay by the full amount of the credit!
